Planning and preparations are underway for:

Community Christmas Carols @ School

Last P & C Meeting on 5th November @ 1.30pm

Welcome to all our families in 2015. The school has an active and enthusiastic parent body supporting their children's education.

All parents are invited to come along and participate in the decision-making processes of the school. As schools become more and more responsible for regulating their own activities, it's vital to have the extra support that comes from P & C activities. Fund-raising activities include: canteen, catering for specific events, Easter and Christmas hamper raffles, Mother's and Father's Day stalls and voting day cake stalls. Your support by donation or help for these activities is welcomed and very much appreciated.

The P & C sets a family levy which is payable during first term. This levy contributes to Association Fees and insurances. Currently the levy is set at $25 per family.

Bunnings sausage sizzle was a tremendous success - sold out by 2.30 p.m. after a few trips for supplies! The sauages were the talk of the day with many 'return' customers. It raised $1700 and thanks goes to all who contributed.

Scholar Dollar Success on the same day! We came second in the promotion at Tweed City Shopping Centre. We are very grateful to Mrs Pansaru (Mihaiela's   grandmother) for coordinating this effort. Jayden represented us by accepting $3000 worth of prices and vouchers to support our little school. Thanks Mrs Pansaru and your fabulous frineds.

Canteen News

The school boasts a modern, well-equipped canteen that opens FRIDAYS only.

It offers a healthy menu in accordance with NSW Health guidelines. Generally two parents manage the Friday service. It's a real a treat for the students to 'visit' a family member in the Canteen.

The P & C manage the canteen, providing considerable funds to support our students' learning needs. We welcome you to be part of the roster, it's a great way to meet other parents and participate in your children's education. Alternatively you can assist by providing cake, biscuits or fruit treats for recess.

Thank you, as you know 'Every little bit helps' and 'Many hands do make light work!'

Parents get their hands-on in the classrooms doing a bit of bridge building with Kindergarten. Then a spot of reading on a glorious winters day.
